Bettys Beach - South Coast
Betty's Beach near Manypeaks, is named after Betty Jones, born circa 1919, who often visited the area to go camping and fishing with her family.
The beach is located on a small, protected bay, with a white sandy beach and natural granite rock formations. The views overlooking the ocean are quite picturesque and a pleasant place to relax and enjoy the scenery. The beach is suitable for beach walking, swimming and fishing.
Expect to catch Herring, Whiting, Skippy, Salmon, Flathead, Silver Bream and occasionally, Sampson Fish. Best fishing is near the rock formations and the small island. Please take care and observe safety signs in the area.
Betty's Beach is located between Two Peoples Bay and Norman Beach, some 49 km from Albany. To reach the camping site, travel along South Coast Highway approximately 35 km to Homestead Road, turn right and continue 14.5 km to the end.
Nearby Norman's Beach and East Bay Beach can also be reached from Homestead Road. Both have camping areas, excellent scenery and are accessible by normal vehicles.
29th December 2018 - Cheynes Beach - 80 kms east of Albany
Cheyne Beach is located 68km east of Albany and is a quiet holiday escape on the pristine south coast. The crisp white stretch of sand around the bay and the turquoise blue water paints a pretty picture indeed.
The protected cove to the west is a beautiful part of the bay and perfect for safe swimming and setting up on the beach for a day of relaxation and scenic bliss. There are some grassy areas skirting the beach ideal for erecting shelters. Dogs are prohibited in this area.

This amazing Rainbow was just outside Dandaragan, Western Australia as we were heading towards the Brand Highway at Regans Ford Roadhouse.
I tried several settings with the Nikon D5100 with the 18-55mm lens
Dandaragan is a small town in the Wheatbelt region of Western Australia. The name of Dandaragan was first recorded in 1850 as the name of a nearby gulley and spring or watering hole known as Dandaraga spring. The word is Indigenous Australian in origin and is thought to mean good kangaroo country
20th July 2018 - Attadale, Perth
When letting Mojo out on the late afternoon saw these clouds out the back door looking to the north west.
Attadale is a riverside suburb of Perth, Western Australia, located within the City of Melville. It was the first subdivision of A.P. Matheson's Melville Water Park Estate. Attadale was named after an estate in Scotland situated on the south side of Loch Carron.
